tft ips capacitive touchscreen is better than tn tft capacitive touchscreen, because tn tft capacitive touch, when you push on the touch screen in a harder stress, there might be occur "ripple" problem when in push for the optical bonding screen, while you if use tft ips capacitive touchscreen, no " ripple" problem happened. so if you need to add the capacitive touch screen on the tft lcd with optical bonding connection, it would be better to choose IPS tft lcd.

but if you capacitive touch screen is frame bonding, that it is attached the touch screen by glue tape, not via OCA glue as optical bonding, it doesn't matter for choosing tft ips capacitive touchscreen or tn tft capacitive touchscreen. because there is a gap between the capactive touch screen and tft lcd.
