Our 1.04 range currently covers 4 part numbers at 128x32, plus 128x64 on the 1.09 inch builds, driven by SSD1306 (1.04 inch) or CH1115 (1.09 inch) over SPI and I2C, in white monochrome. It is a 128x32 bar format, with 1.09 inch 128x64 builds listed here for anyone who needs more rows.

Mechanical details

Outline and active area dimensions differ slightly between part numbers, so check the drawing on each product page before finalising the bezel cut-out. Panel thickness stays around 1.2 to 1.4 mm on the monochrome builds, which lets the module sit almost flush behind a cover window.

Interface and driver

These modules run on the SSD1306 (1.04 inch) or CH1115 (1.09 inch), and the interface options are SPI and I2C. On the I2C builds only four pins are needed (VCC, GND, SCL, SDA), which is why this group is common in Arduino, ESP32 and STM32 projects as well as in production hardware. The parallel and SPI builds suit hosts that need a faster refresh for animation or waveform drawing.

Where this size fits

Typical uses are wearable bands, small instrument panels, sensor loggers and battery powered devices. See also the 0.96 inch page if space is tighter; the 1.27 inch page if you need more viewing area.

What resolution does the 1.04 group come in?

The standard build is 128x32, plus 128x64 on the 1.09 inch builds. Other resolutions in the same diagonal are listed in the table above.

Can I run these from an Arduino or ESP32?

Yes. Choose an I2C part number and the wiring is four pins; libraries for the SSD1306, SH1106, SH1107 and SSD1322 families are widely available. SPI builds give a faster refresh but need two more pins.

Is a wide temperature version available?

Selected part numbers in this group are built for -40 °C to +80 °C operation. Tell us the ambient range your product has to survive and we will confirm which builds are qualified for it.

What can be customised?

On this size we regularly adjust the FPC length and pinout, the connector type, the cover glass and the adapter PCB. Changes to the glass itself need tooling, so they only make sense at volume - we will say so honestly rather than quote an unrealistic MOQ.

Custom builds and samples

As a China based display company and module supplier, we hold stock of the standard part numbers on this page and ship samples in one to two weeks. Send your size, resolution, interface and temperature requirements and we will confirm feasibility with a drawing within one working day.
