Our 1.3 inch range currently covers 8 part numbers at 128x64 (also 128x96 and 64x128), driven by SSD1306, SH1106, SH1107 or SSD1327Z over MCU / 4-wire SPI, I2C and parallel, in white. It is the size with the widest choice here: eight part numbers across three resolutions, including a wide temperature build.
| Part number | Resolution | Interface |
|---|---|---|
| MLD130-12864A | 128x64 | SPI + I2C |
| MLD130-12864E | 128x64 wide temperature | I2C, 4-pin |
| MLD130-12864G | 128x64 | Parallel / SPI / I2C |
| MLD132-12896A | 128x96 | SPI |
| MLD130-64128A | 64x128 portrait | SPI |
The standard build measures 34.5 x 23.0 x 1.3 mm with an active area of 29.42 x 14.7 mm, which is the number you need for the bezel cut-out. Panel thickness stays around 1.2 to 1.4 mm for the monochrome builds, so the module sits almost flush behind the cover window.
These modules run on the SSD1306, SH1106, SH1107 or SSD1327Z, and the interface options are MCU / 4-wire SPI, I2C and parallel. On the I2C builds only four pins are needed (VCC, GND, SCL, SDA), which is why this size is common in Arduino, ESP32 and STM32 projects as well as in production hardware. The parallel builds suit hosts that already drive a character display and need a drop-in upgrade.
Typical uses are industrial handheld terminals, medical instruments, test equipment and mains-powered meters. Choose the 0.96 inch version if space is tighter; choose the 1.5 inch version if you need more readable text.
The standard build is 128x64 (also 128x96 and 64x128). Other resolutions in the same diagonal are listed in the table above.
Yes. Choose an I2C part number and the wiring is four pins; libraries for SSD1306, SH1106 and SH1107 are widely available. SPI builds give a faster refresh for animation but need two more pins.
Selected part numbers in this size are built for -40 °C to +80 °C operation. Tell us the ambient range your product has to survive and we will confirm which builds are qualified for it.
On this size we regularly adjust the FPC length and pinout, the connector type, the cover glass and the adapter PCB. Changes to the glass itself need tooling, so they only make sense at volume - we will say so honestly rather than quote an unrealistic MOQ.
As a China based display company and module supplier, we hold stock of the standard part numbers on this page and ship samples in one to two weeks. Send your size, resolution, interface and temperature requirements and we will confirm feasibility with a drawing within one working day.
