Is 150 cd/m² bright enough for outdoor use?
Yes, on a transflective panel it is. The number measured in the datasheet is the transmissive backlight output only; outdoors the reflective layer adds ambient light on top, so readability in direct sun does not depend on driving the backlight harder. That is also why this build runs cooler and uses less power than a 1000 nit transmissive panel.
What resolution and orientation is this panel?
480 x 800 pixels in portrait, driven over a 16, 18 or 24-bit RGB interface. The active area is 51.84 x 86.40 mm, so check the cut-out against the module outline of 57.86 x 97.70 mm before finalising the enclosure.
Does the touch panel come bonded to the display?
Yes, this part number ships with the capacitive touch panel integrated. If you need a different cover glass shape, a thicker cover lens or optical bonding, we quote that as a custom build on the same 4.0 inch glass.
What is the operating temperature range?
-10 °C to +60 °C operating, -20 °C to +70 °C storage. If your product has to survive a wider range, tell us the target and we will check whether a different cell or driver build is needed.
